This Privacy Policy explains how Floor Plan AI (“we”, “us”, or “our”, available at floorplancreator.design) handles your information when you use our website and AI design generation service. Please read it carefully.
1. Information We Collect
We keep data collection to the minimum required to operate the service. We collect the following categories of information:
Google account information
You sign in with Google. With your consent, Google shares the following basic profile fields with us:

We do not receive your Google password, and we never post to your Google account.
Images you upload
Images you upload are used as input for AI design generation and are stored so you can access your results and history.
Generated results
Design images produced for you are stored so you can view, revisit, and download them.
Service and security data
We keep basic records needed to run and protect the service, such as generation timestamps and credit consumption records. When you sign in and use the Service, we also process your IP address and browser user-agent (device and browser information): your IP address and user-agent are stored with your sign-in sessions so we can manage your active sessions, and they may be combined with related security signals for fraud and abuse prevention. We do not use this data for advertising or profiling.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information above solely to:
- Provide the generation service — process your uploads into AI design outputs and store them for your account;
- Operate your account — authentication, credit balance, history, and essential service communications;
- Protect the service — prevent abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and keep usage within fair limits.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for behavioral advertising.
3. AI Processing
Uploaded images are processed by our third-party AI processing provider, Fal.ai, which acts as a processor that generates your design results on our behalf. Once processing is complete, the generated results are transferred to our own storage and the processing copies at the provider are handled in line with the provider’s retention and deletion policies.
Floor Plan AI does not use your uploads or generated results to train our own models. Beyond that, the AI provider and any underlying model provider handle your content under their own applicable terms and data policies, which we encourage you to review — see the Fal.ai API Services Terms.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your account data, uploaded images, and generated results for as long as your account is active, so the service can function and your history remains available.
Deleting your account
There is currently no self-service account deletion in the app. Instead, you can request deletion of your account at any time by emailing us at [email protected] from the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity before acting on the request.
Once your request is verified, we will delete your account record from our PostgreSQL database, including its sign-in credential associations and session records, and we will remove the object-storage references for your uploaded images and generated results and delete the corresponding objects from our Cloudflare R2 storage. Object deletion is carried out by our team as part of handling the request — it is not performed automatically by the database. We will complete verified deletion requests within 30 days of identity verification.
6. Third-Party Services
We rely on a small set of processors, each with a single role:
- Google — account sign-in (OAuth); provides your basic profile fields when you consent;
- Better Auth — our authentication platform. When anti-abuse protection is enabled, its hosted Sentinel infrastructure receives visitor and sign-in signals (such as IP address, device signals, and abuse heuristics) to rate-limit sign-ups and sign-ins, and to detect and block bots, suspicious IPs, and duplicate free-trial accounts;
- Fal.ai — processes your uploads to generate design results;
- Cloudflare — object storage (R2, S3-compatible) for your uploaded images and generated results.
If and when paid subscriptions are enabled, Stripe will also process subscription payments; card details will be handled by Stripe and will not be stored by us.
Each provider processes data only as needed to deliver its part of the service.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights:
- Deletion — request account deletion by emailing us; we verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days as described in Section 5;
- Access, correction, and other requests — email us and we will respond after verifying your identity.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves. Changes are posted on this page together with a refreshed “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes may additionally be announced in the app.
