Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Floor Plan AI (“the Service”, available at floorplancreator.design), an AI-powered floor plan and home design generation tool. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Service, and in particular by signing in for the first time with Google, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. There is no separate sign-up checkbox — accepting these Terms is part of first sign-in. The “Last updated” date at the top identifies the current version of these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Floor Plan AI today generates AI-assisted design visuals — including floor plans, interior, exterior, and outdoor design concepts — from images you upload and options you select. The Service includes a free credit allowance for new accounts, as described in Section 5. If and when paid subscriptions are offered, the billing terms in Section 6 will apply.

3. AI Output Disclaimer

Not professional advice.

AI-generated outputs are conceptual visualizations only. They do not constitute architectural, structural, fire safety, electrical, construction, or code-compliance advice of any kind. Never rely on an AI output as the basis for construction, renovation, permitting, or safety decisions. Always consult qualified, licensed professionals — such as architects, structural engineers, fire safety engineers, electricians, and contractors — and comply with all applicable local codes and regulations.

Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are solely responsible for how you use them.

4. User Content & Prohibited Conduct

Your content

You keep all rights to the images you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and transform your uploads — including through our AI processing provider — solely as needed to operate the Service and deliver your results. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you upload.

Prohibited content and conduct

You must not upload or create content that is:

  • Illegal, or that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, or any other rights of others;
  • Harmful, malicious, or deceptive — including malware, attempts to compromise the Service, or misrepresentation of AI outputs as professional documents;
  • Used to abuse the credit system, resell the Service without authorization, or circumvent usage limits and security measures.

We may suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice where reasonably necessary to protect the Service and other users.

5. Credits & Free Allowance

  • Free allowance — new accounts receive 50 free credits at sign-up, credited once;
  • Personal use — the free allowance is for your personal, non-commercial use; a commercial-use license is granted with the Pro and Agency tiers (see Section 6);
  • Consumption — each generation consumes credits; the cost is shown before you confirm a generation;
  • Automatic refund on failure — if a generation fails due to a confirmed provider-side failure, the credits consumed are automatically refunded to your balance;
  • No cash value — credits are not redeemable for money and are not transferable between accounts;
  • Usage limits — we may apply per-day and global usage limits to protect service stability and prevent abuse.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

The Service currently operates on the free credit allowance described in Section 5. If and when paid subscriptions are offered, billing will be handled through Stripe; we will not store your full card details. Prices will be displayed at checkout before you pay.

Plans & commercial license. When subscriptions are available, the Pro and Agency tiers grant a non-exclusive license to use generated designs for commercial purposes while your subscription is active; tier differences (monthly credits, commercial license, support level) are disclosed on our pricing page. The free allowance and the Starter tier remain limited to personal, non-commercial use.

Automatic renewal. When subscriptions are available, they will renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date. The checkout page will disclose how to cancel before you are charged, and cancellation will stop future renewals; your access will continue until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunds

Our refund rules are:

  • Used credits are not refundable — credits spent on generations, including generations whose results you do not like, are not refundable. Unspent purchased credits (and your free sign-up allowance) remain valid for as long as your account exists; unused subscription credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not carry over.
  • Provider failure — if a generation fails due to a confirmed provider-side failure, the credits consumed are automatically refunded to your balance (see Section 5).
  • Subscriptions (when offered) — the checkout page will disclose how to cancel and how refund requests are handled; nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

Credits granted with a subscription are granted per billing cycle; unused subscription credits reset at the start of each cycle and do not carry over. Purchased credits and your free sign-up allowance keep their earlier validity. Credits are not redeemable for cash.

7. Availability & Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, including for maintenance or capacity reasons.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms — including the prohibited content rules in Section 4 or abuse of the credit system. When an account is terminated or deleted, data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Changes are posted on this page together with a refreshed “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
